Mabo on the back of the Hilux

Mabo is my main dog and is going into his fifth season. His calling in life is upland hunting, and he believes he should be about 10 yards ahead of me working from side to side. He is no good at stalking dams or hunting deer as he can’t understand why he wouldn’t want to be flushing everything for me.

Until I got Mabo I didn’t realise how much pleasure a dog brings. As a pup he got really annoyed every time I took Fudge out and left him with a dried pigs ear. By the time he was ready to be trained for guns he was so excited he had no fear of my 17 HMR, and was just stoked to be allowed out.
