Mabo, Lucy, Bruce & Fudge on a cold morning in Central Otago
I have had hunted with four dogs over the last five years, Fudge, Mabo, Lucy & Bruce. I’ve also had Semi & Ned for short periods.
Going into the 2013 season I’ll have Mabo as my main dog, Bruce in his second season, with Lucy coming for a few weeks, and will meet up with Fudge in Central Otago to chase Quail and Chukor.
I have only ever had Labs, and I favour Black Dogs, as my dogs have been much more willing to work the blackberry and gorse than my bitches.
