My current selection of Skellerup Hikers. The tread wears down and they start falling apart after about a year, so become laceless boots for around home.
I go through a couple of pairs of Skellerup Hikers every year fishing and shooting. They are a relatively inexpensive boot that copes with being wet well.
Over the years I have thought of getting proper upland boots but they are expensive, and would never dry out as I am almost always hunting where there is a bit of moisture.
